Our corporate offices are located in Philadelphia where 5 Oceans Marine Group was founded. Today, the Philadelphia office is where we broker yachts, web and data management and marketing. We are situated in the heart of Manayunk, a thriving area of boutique shops and restaurants on the eastern banks of the Schuylkill river.
Our staff coordinates with our brokers around the world and makes sure that every one of our transactions is handled smoothly and efficiently. The day-to-day functioning of the brokerage takes place here – from listing boats to preparing ads, managing complex international wires and deposits and negotiating last-minute contract changes to name but a few- are handled in our Philadelphia regional offices including our office in Montgomery County by our expert staff.
5 Oceans Marine Group President, Phil Berman, travels extensively assisting clients with boat surveys or talking directly with clients at boat shows around the globe, calls the Philadelphia region his home. Also at the corporate offices are Sales and Marketing Manager Andrew Holland, a Philadelphia native and Temple University graduate who has managed over the sale of over 800 yachts around the world since joining the company in 2007. Andrew handles all of the firms financial transactions including currency trades for clients, escrow funds for both buyer and sellers. Andrew has the skill and experience to make even the most difficult transaction a breeze for clients.
Lauren Speranza is the Office Manager at 5 Oceans Marine Group and has worked with 5 Oceans since 2012. Lauren manages the day to day functioning of our corporate offices and serves as the main administrative assistant to Phillip Berman and our team of brokers around the world.
Anne Gordon is the chief financial officer for 5 Oceans Marine Group. Anne has worked with Phil since the early days of 5 Oceans Marine Group. Formerly the Managing Editor and Vice President of the Philadelphia Inquirer Anne oversaw a budget of $48 million and worked to oversee the newspaper’s journalistic operations as well as broader operational issues.
