About This Boat

SWIFT is a 1991 Catana 48R "race". Built light and powerful. Probably one of the most balanced "Lock" designs on the water, her hulls are a testament to Crowther's offshore fast passage shapes.

With a new April 2021 survey, new standing rigging in 2018, and lots of potential, SWIFT is fast cruiser that can compete with the latest performance multihulls, at a fraction of the cost. Ship systems are functional, and nothing prevents hopping on board and heading back across the Caribbean, across the Atlantic, or thru the canal into the Pacific

An investment in upgrades, finish and cosmetics would have a boat with the refinement to match any modern build.
